Phil Ivey will most probably bring bring the long-desired change at the top of the All-Time WSOP Money List! His place at the final table at the WSOP 2009 Main Event has secured him a minimum prize money of $1,263,602 just like the nine other final table players.
With this, Gold's lead has shrunk to a mere $101,739. And since it will still be some time until Phil Ivey takes his seat at the final table, it is quite possible that he takes part in some other tournament, winning enough to securely overtake Gold in the All-Time Money List. If not, all he needs to do is come out 7th or preferably better to win a high enough prize money at the WSOP final table to cause a change at the top of the list.
Winning a Main Event would then be just the high point of a near perfect carrier for Ivey.
Below you can take a look at the current Top 10 of the All-Time Money List.
